Home Remedies to get rid of Pigmentation
1. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple Cider Vinegar contains acetic acid, which helps to reduce the pigmentation.
How to use > Mix equal quantity water and apple cider vinegar in a container, apply to your dark spots and pigmentation area, leave it for 5 to 10 minute. Rinse using lukewarm water. Repeat twice daily to get the desired result.
2. Aloe Vera
How to use >Apply pure aloe Vera gel to the pigmented area before bedtime, rinse using lukewarm water the next day morning and repeat daily until your skin color improves.
How to use >Take pure yoghurt in a bowl, apply all over the face, leave it for 30 minutes and rinse it with lukewarm water.
4. Lemon Juice
Lemon is a natural bleaching agent and also they are rich in Vitamin C, which helps to protect skin from UV rays.
How to use > Mix lemon juice with 2 tbsp. of honey, apply this mixture on the affected areas, leave it for 20 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water.
Papaya is also good for skin to reduce pigmentation by encouraging cell growth and also it eliminates dead skin cells. It contains papain enzyme which has exfoliating properties.
How to use > Mix papaya pulp with pure milk and honey, apply the mixture on the affected area of your face, leave it for 30 minutes and rinse your face with lukewarm water. Repeat this weekly thrice for a better result.
Potatoes contain catechol’s which help to remove the excessive melanin from the face.
How to use >Take potato slice and rub it in a circular motion on the affected area, continue the process 5 to 10 minute, slowly you need to rub it, wait for 5 to 10 minute and rinse it with lukewarm water.
Tomato acts as a bleaching agent which helps to remove pigmentation from the skin.
How to use > Take a tomato and cut it into slices, rub the slices on your face over the affected part of the skin, leave it for 10 to 15 minute and rinse with lukewarm water.
Cucumber is used to treat blemishes on the skin and it also helps to lighten the dark spot.
How to use >Mix cucumber juice with honey and lemon in a bowl, apply this mixture on affected areas of your skin, leave it for 10 minutes and rinse it with lukewarm water.
9. Red Onion
Onions are a rich source of Vitamin C and also has antioxidant properties so which helps to reduce the pigmentation.
How to use >Take slice of red onion, rub the slice on the affected area of the skin, you can also apply onion juice, leave it for 10 to 15 minute and wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeat this weekly thrice for good result.
